Why Irresponsibly Single?

One of these beautiful January days in this new decade of 2020 I was driving to work and what I believed was a thought came to my mind as I was talking with God.

"I'm too irresponsible to be in a relationship. I'm irresponsibly single."

The best part is that it wasn't actually a thought, it's what actually came out of my mouth, out loud. I immediately began to laugh aloud because...

Number 1: I thought it was hilarious and

Number 2: I loved the sheer level of blunt honesty.

Before that moment I have thought of myself as being to selfish to be in a relationship and that was and is totally fine with me. But IRRESPONSIBLE? That was truly laughable and it still is. Please don't misunderstand that to mean my life is in disarray. Quite the opposite actually.

When I told the two people I trust the most about this moment in my life, they laughed stating "I can't wait to see what you write on there." Well gals, I can't wait to what else I write on here as well.

Guess we'll all just have to stick around and see what happens.
